In our daily life, we have used so many electrical and electronic devices some of them are operated with utility electricity, and some of them are operated with batteries. Generally, small, low-power, and portable electronic devices use batteries for their power supply. For example, a torchlight may use a rechargeable or non-rechargeable battery. So we can carry it anywhere with us. Electronic candles and emergency lights also come in this category. Some other examples are Clocks, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors also use batteries. Some important tools such as hand-driven drilling machines and cutting machines are also operated by batteries.
Kitchen Appliances
There are so many kitchen appliances also designed to operate with batteries. So there is no interruption in your daily work due to power failure. Some examples are Hand Driven Mixer Grinders, Blenders, Carving knives, electric salt, and paper mills.
Actually, battery-operated kitchen appliances are very compact in design, lightweight, and easy to carry and operate because there is no additional circuit for high-voltage power processing. Battery-operated devices are operated with low voltage and low power. For example, a 230V or 120V AC supply-operated mixer grinder consists of a bigger motor so bigger in size and heavy weight but a battery-operated mixer grinder is very compact in size, light in weight, and very safe from electric shock during operation.
Personal Usable Device
Wrist Watches, Hair trimmers, electronic shavers, and electronic toothbrushes come in this category. They are very helpful as they can be used anywhere. Nowadays, most of the devices use rechargeable batteries. So, we do not need to throw out the batteries after fully discharged just connect them with a charger and charge them again to reuse. In fact, most of the devices come with an inbuilt charging circuit so we don't need an additional charger also.
Entertainment Devices
There are some entertainment devices we use in our daily lives that are operated by batteries such as portable music players, iPods, gaming devices, electronic toys, video players, radios, etc. This helps us to connect with entertainment anywhere because cannot sit at a particular place for a long time for our entertainment. These devices can be used with our regular work also. For example, just take a music player and connect it to your headphones, and out for your regular jogging, gyming, or to do your useful work.
Multimedia Devices
There are some multimedia devices we use in our daily life and the battery-operated features give us a lot of freedom, portability, and flexibility. Some examples are laptops, smartphones, tablets, portable computers, etc. Nowadays smartphones and computers are a very important part of our daily life. A portable computer or a laptop helps you to use it in both your home and office.
Vehicles
Nowadays there are so many battery-operated vehicles are also available in the market such as electric bicycles, electric scooters, electric cars, electric boats, etc. They do not cause any pollution also.
